Mackenzie Hughes

Canada’s own, Mackenzie Hughes made his PGA TOUR card-carrying debut in 2016 and quickly ascended to prominence winning the 2016 RSM Classic and 2022 Sanderson Farms Championship. Hughes has won at every level from junior golf, to amateur, to college at Kent State and the pros. Hughes is the first player ever to have won at each step on the official ‘Path to the PGA TOUR’ having won on the Mackenzie Tour - PGA TOUR Canada, Korn Ferry Tour and the PGA TOUR.

Hughes’ passion and love for the game of golf started at the age of 7 when his parents would bring him along to the driving range at Dundas Valley Golf and Country Club. In 2017, the Par-3 course at Dundas Valley was renamed the ‘Mackenzie Hughes Par 3’ as a homage to the place where it all began for Hughes.

He and his wife Jenna are proud parents to Kenton (named in part as a tribute to Kent State, where Mackenzie and Jenna met) son Cohen and daughter Ellie Mae. Hughes grew up a loyal Toronto Sports fan and demonstrates his support of the Maple Leafs, Raptors, and Blue Jays. Hughes has been known to sport the Leafs and Raptors jerseys in competition on the PGA TOUR to show his support.
