Making a Meaningful Difference Together

At the Mackenzie Hughes Family Foundation, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and cared for. Through the generosity of our community and partners, we turn that belief into action- meeting essential needs, creating moments of joy, and strengthening communities.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we look ahead to 2026, we have identified and are currently exploring three Charlotte-based organizations whose work closely aligns with our mission to support children and families in meaningful ways:

• A Kid Again – Central Carolinas
• Foster Village Charlotte
• Kids First of the Carolinas

We are focused on investing in partnerships that align with our mission and demonstrate measurable impact: meeting essential needs, strengthening family stability, and creating meaningful opportunities for children to thrive.

Why It Matters

Whether it’s a warm coat, a safe place to sleep, or support for a child’s future, these efforts create a ripple effect- strengthening families and uplifting entire communities.
